On May 31, the RA NA Vice President Mikayel Melkumyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the RA Pawel Cieplak.

Welcoming the Ambassador the RA NA Vice President has documented with satisfaction that the Armenian-Polish inter-parliamentary relations effectively develop, and the Parliamentary Friendship Groups have significant role in it.

Expressing gratitude for the reception Pawel Cieplak highlighted the work of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups and the activation of the mutual visits.

In the course of the meeting issues relating to the inter-parliamentary and economic relations, the possibilities and the ways of the increase of the goods turnover volumes between the two countries were discussed. It was proposed to organize Armenian-Polish Business Forums.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Vardevan Grigoryan attended the meeting.
